Day 1: The 4 BEST temples in towns
- Angkor Wat – the biggest religious monument in the world
- South Gate of Angkor Thom city
- Bayon – the only one temple for the Buddha
- Ta Prohm – the jungle temple known as Tomb Raider temple
- Pre Rup – The huge towers built by clay brick in 10 century
- Banteay Srei – the most beautiful carving temple in the world (It is 37 km from town)
Day 2: Beng Mealea + Koh Ker Group (130 km from Siem Reap city)
- Beng Mealea – the Indian Jones
- Koh Ker Group – A group of almost 100 ruin temples in Preah Vihear province. Koh Ker is the main temple with 7-tiers. You can climb up to the top to see the beautiful landscape. You can visit more temples like:
- Prasat Pram,
- Prasat Neang Khmao,
- Prasat Damrei,
- Prasat Chen,
- Prasat Linga….
Day 3: Kulen Mountain & Floating Village (70 km from Siem Reap City)
- Visit the Oldest Capital City of Angkor Empire. It was built in BC 802. Over there you can see the thousand lingam on the bed of the river, the biggest reclining Buddha made from a single stone, and you can swim in the stream of the best waterfall in Cambodia. It is the Holy Water!
- Visit a Floating Village with thousand family live permanently on the water. It allows for an authentic floating village experience. The village moves throughout the year, depending on the water levels of the lake. At the end of the dry season when the lake’s water levels are at its lowest, the villagers move closer to the shore and live primarily from fishing activities. You completely see the floating houses, hospital center, police station, floating school, floating church…..
Day 4: Preah Vihea Temple
You will be guided to see the temple of Cambodia on the promontory of the Dangrek Mountain Range. The temple is at the Cambodia-Thailand border. It is a great view with fantastic building that has been around since Angkorian Kings. The temple is about 250 km from Siem Reap.
- Preah Vihea temple: One of the best highlights in the northern part of Cambodia
- Ta Muk’s house (Khmer Rouge Commander). If you want to do it, it is $5 per person for admission. It is your own payment. You can skip this one.
Day 5: Sambo Prei Kuk
This is the journey to the 7th century Capital City of Cambodia. The group of temples are the oldest ones in Cambodia which you can see that they used clay bricks as the main material. They are beautiful in design, structure and atmosphere.
- Sambo Prei Kuk: the oldest temples built in different style of art from Angkor Group. It contains more than 100 temples in this area. I highly recommend you to see them because they are so old – 1500 years old.
- Naga bridge or Kampong Kdei bridge: It is so amazing bridge from 13th century.
Remark:
- Please wear the proper dress for visiting all temples. If you wear shorts and a t-shirt, please make sure they are long enough to cover your knees and shoulders.
- The tour is from 7:30 am till you finish around 3:00 pm, or we can start the tour any time you want.
- Sunrise can be included with $30 extra charge (for the group, not individual). If you choose Sunrise, the tour starts at 4:45 am from the lobby of your hotel. Sunset is $10 extra charge.
- Lunch break at noon time (or any time) at a local restaurant nearby the temples.
- We charge you this fee because of our qualification, experience & the distance of the temples.
- Tour fee is in US Dollars by Cash. No deposit needed! Please just pay the tour fee during the tour at any time.
- Temple pass for Angkor Park is accepted by Cash or Credit Cards.
